01Using Alarm Pulse
You may use Alarm Pulse if you can form a binding agreement with us and are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure.
02Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@alarmpulse.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
03Connections & nudges — acceptable use
Nudges are for caring reminders between people who have agreed to connect. You agree not to use them to harass, threaten, spam or send unlawful or abusive content. We may suspend accounts that misuse connections or nudges. Either party can remove a connection at any time.
04Custom sounds & content
You may upload audio only if you have the right to use it for personal purposes. You keep ownership of what you upload; you grant us the limited permission needed to store and play it back to you within the app. Custom sounds stay on your device and are not shared.
05Not a critical-safety or medical device
Alarm Pulse is a convenience tool. Alarms and nudges depend on your device, its settings, power, network and operating system, and may be delayed or fail to fire. Do not rely on Alarm Pulse alone for medication, medical, safety-critical or time-critical situations. Always keep an independent backup for anything important.
06Subscriptions & billing
- Pro is offered as weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions at the prices shown in the app (for example $2.99 / week, $8.99 / month, $49.80 / year; prices vary by region).
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
07Rewarded ads
Free users may choose to watch optional rewarded videos to earn extra nudges. Participation is entirely voluntary, and Pro removes ads. We don't control the content of third-party ads shown by our advertising partner.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law; infringe others' rights; disrupt, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service; or use the app to harm, harass or deceive others.
09Intellectual property
Alarm Pulse, its name, design and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our branding except to use the app as intended.
10Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alarm Pulse is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for missed alarms or nudges, loss of data, or any reliance on the app for critical purposes. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11Termination
You may stop using Alarm Pulse and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll post changes here with a new date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
